Have you ever heard of black light bulbs? I am sure not or even if you have you probably do not know what they are. Black light bulbs seems like an impossible invention because black and white rarely go together however this is not the case in the lighting market. black light bulbs are an important feature of lighting market as they come with many prominent features and a large array of uses.

Like any other regular bulbs, black light bulbs also make things glow in the dark. Black light bulbs are of two kinds, the first ones can be found in flourescent lights that generate 100% UV energy and then there is another kind that emits purple light. Both the black light bulbs are used mostly as halloween and party decors. Black light bulbs contain phosphor which once activated throws UV energy. Also known as UVA energy it ranged between 310 nanometers to 400 nanometers in any common electromagnetic spectrum.

Black light bulbs are used both for commercial and domestic purposes. More commonly used in industries to keep a quality check on the products being manufactured. With black light bulbs locating manufacturing flaws like leaks and cracks become really easy to detect.  Apart from this you will find black bulb lights in cafes and especially in night clubs.Nowadays black bulb lights are also being used to brighten up the outdoor advertising, theatrical lightning and window displays.

The uses of black bulb lights are both ornamental and functional enhancing their values greatly.
